A Bit About Me
Wedge Ceramics was founded by Gemma Wilson - a ceramic artist and workshop facilitator with a passion for making creativity accessible beyond the studio. With a background in hospitality, business management, baking and ceramics plus a strong belief in the wellbeing benefits of working with your hands, I create thoughtful, hands-on experiences that encourage people to slow down.
I currently live in Bridgend, but am originally from Aberdare in the South Wales valleys.
Dog lover, nature enthusiast, wannabe allotment owner, creative, artist, baker.....candle stick maker ( not really - thats something I haven't explored yet! ) I love anything that allows me to be mindful and relaxed.
Alongside my personal practice of ceramic sculpture, I deliver mobile ceramic workshops for community focused monthly sessions, team building, workplaces, wellbeing programmes and corporate away days, bringing clay, creativity and calm directly to teams and shared spaces.
At the heart of Wedge Ceramics is a belief that creativity is for everyone of all backgrounds and that making together can be both grounding and joyful.
